About You

Projective is seeking an experienced building services /HVAC engineer with experience of the design of HVAC systems for clean & sterile environments in various world climates.

As an experienced engineer you will be capable of conducting system audits and identifying maintenance, control, and design issues together with recommending solutions for improvement.

Together with your design skills you will have experience in calculating a systems energy performance and be conversant with low energy solutions including the limitations of each technology.

You will have a working knowledge of HVAC control system and have proven client and subcontractor management skills.

About the Role

As a senior HVAC engineer, you will lead a team of engineers to audit client's facilities, analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement both in system compliance and energy performance.

Post recommendation, you and your team will develop the engineering solutions required and manage subcontractors throughout the build process. On completion of the build, you will supervise commissioning before finally handing over the system, back to the client, with a full report on the benefits achieved.

Qualifications and Additional Requirements:

• 10yrs+ experience in building services.
• ASHRAE Qualified, low carbon consultant.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of energy calculations
• Site experience and capable of complying with any Health and Safety procedure.
• Resident in the US, & strongly preferred to be in commuting distance to Indianapolis office.
• Current driving licence and access to a car.
• The ability to travel and work away from home for short periods (typically <5 days) including overseas when required.
