We're hiring! Beacon Hill has partnered with an established non-profit organization in the Chicago Loop in hiring an HR Administrative Assistant to start immediately!

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is crucial in supporting HR operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes related to staffing, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records.
• Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring all forms are completed.
• Maintain employee records, update databases, and ensure data confidentiality.
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, claims, and inquiries.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and HR-related events.
• Handle employee inquiries regarding company policies and procedures.
• Support HR team with compliance tasks, including maintaining employee files in line with legal requirements.
• Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets and attendance records.
• Other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred).
• Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of employees.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
