Job Description: As an Esri ArcGIS Developer, you will design, develop, and implement custom GIS solutions for ArcGIS Enterprise, integrating with SharePoint, .NET applications, and enterprise databases. Responsibilities include developing web applications, geoprocessing services, and enterprise GIS solutions while ensuring system performance, scalability, and compliance with best practices. This role requires expertise in JavaScript, Esri APIs, and GIS web mapping technologies. Key Responsibilities: Develops customized web applications, web services, and enterprise GIS solutions Designs and implements geoprocessing and GIS web services for enterprise use Develops and maintains GIS web editing and mapping applications Conducts performance testing, unit testing, system integration, and quality assurance Maintains, upgrades, and migrates existing applications and services to modern architectures Provides technical support and documentation for end users and IT staff Works closely with developers, architects, and business units to refine requirements Integrates GIS solutions with .NET applications, Oracle, and SQL Server databases Develops GIS applications supporting project planning, safety, and emergency operations Follows SDLC standards, best practices, and client guidelines for software development Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: 5+ years of experience developing GIS applications using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise Proficiency in JavaScript API, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcGIS Online Experience integrating GIS solutions with SharePoint, .NET, and enterprise databases Strong understanding of web services, REST APIs, and GIS web editing tools Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and enterprise data warehousing concepts Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as OBIEE, Data Visualizer, or Power BI Ability to conduct performance optimization and application scalability improvements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting GIS applications Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams Experience with agile development methodologies and SDLC best practices The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr.
