This position is responsible for directing and leading a team of hourly team members and f oster ing and promot ing a continuous improvement and a positive work environment. Other responsibilities include: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying , dispatching, and assuring quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse statusConfer and coordinate activities with other departmentsRecognize and communicate all food safety and quality issues immediately Important D etails : T his is a full - time permanent role with responsibilities across multiple shifts which operate Monday - Friday with occasional overtime on Saturday and/or Sunday. About You : You'll fit right in if you have: Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience is requiredProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to recognize and support skills development of employees in the department.SAP preferred .Proficient use of computer programs and software .Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously .
