TechForcePros is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will require you to build upon the work of the previous developer, ensuring the continued optimization and functionality of our WordPress-based website. • Website Development & Optimization : Refine and enhance existing WordPress website functionality, ensuring seamless user experience and adherence to modern web standards.
• Plugin Integration & Customization : Expertly manage, configure, and customize plugins to support advanced functionality and site scalability.
• Custom Theme Development : Update or create custom themes to align with TechForcePros’ branding and marketing strategies.
• Advanced WordPress Customization : Utilize custom coding (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to tailor website features and address unique business requirements.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Proactively monitor, identify, and resolve bugs, performance issues, or security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborative Task Execution : Participate in daily team check-ins to align with shared goals, maintain task transparency, and meet deadlines.
• SEO Support : Work closely with the marketing team to optimize website structure, content, and metadata to support SEO strategy (SEO experience is a major plus).
• Data & File Management : Ensure proper file organization and adherence to version control best practices for ongoing development.

• Expert-Level WordPress Proficiency : Demonstrated mastery of WordPress core, custom theme and plugin development, and advanced configurations.
• Coding Expertise : Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required. Experience with REST APIs is a major plus.
• Design Experience : Familiarity with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and a strong eye for design consistency and detail.
• SEO Knowledge : Working knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., RankMath, Google Analytics, and Search Console).
• Version Control : Experience with Git for version control and collaborative code management.
• Time Management : Strong ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and operate efficiently in a collaborative, task-driven environment.
• Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• U.S. Residency Requirement : Applicants must reside in the East Coast or Central Time Zones and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

• Employment Type : 1099 Contract
• Compensation : $27/hr. - $29/hr. (non-negotiable)
• Hours : Weekly hours may vary depending on project needs.
• Work Environment : This is a collaborative role that requires consistent communication and coordination with the team throughout the workday. Independent or autonomous work arrangements will not be considered.
• Restrictions : No agencies or third-party representation will be considered for this role.
