Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in Brooklyn, New York to hire Chemo Trained Infusion RNs. For more than 30 years, we’ve specialized in helping nurses find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals. Infusion RN Contract Details:

• $2,360 – $2,634 per week*
• AM shift available
• 12-week contract with possibility to extend
• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic
• Infusions, phlebotomy, starting IV’s, and port access
• Duties: primarily responsible for administering intravenous (IV) medications and fluids to patients, closely monitoring them for any adverse reactions throughout the infusion process, and providing necessary supportive care, including patient education about their treatment and potential side effects; this often involves specialized knowledge of various medications like chemotherapy drugs and a high level of skill in IV access placement and management.
• Monday – Friday schedule

Requirements:

• Current New York Registered Nurse License
• Certification: Oncology Provider Card (from ONS)
• American Heart Association BLS
• 1 to 2 years of recent Infusion experience
