Job Description

Vimeo enables individuals and businesses to harness the power of video to build community around their content and generate revenue through a range of monetization strategies. We power thousands of streaming services with millions of viewers using our embeddable player, white label apps on the web, and native mobile & TV platforms. Users span a diverse range of verticals and industries including entertainment, performing arts, sports, fitness, internet creators, and more.

Vimeo is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of features that support content & viewer management, publishing, monetization, and analytics for Content & Media users. If you have a thirst for continuous learning, dedication to action-oriented analysis, an obsessive focus on the customer, and an attitude that anything is possible, then Vimeo is the place for you.

What you'll do:

  • Develop a compelling product vision that is built on top of a deep, data-driven understanding of the customer.
  • Deliver solutions that enable individual users and large-scale organizations alike to efficiently manage, distribute, and monetize their video content across their entire ecosystem.
  • Roll up your sleeves, dig into the details, create requirements, and drive a steady cadence of improvements.
  • Set a high bar for success, never accept the status quo, look for every opportunity you can find to innovate.
  • Manage the execution of initiatives from solution through launch - engaging all the right teams at Vimeo along the way.
  • Define metrics for success and failure and analyze and create dashboards for key metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization, partnering with engineering, data science, customer service, legal, and more.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully launching product solutions.
  • Experience building software solutions in the video space.
  • Interest in video and the digital media industry, with a deep understanding of the evolving trends and technologies shaping the future.
  • Strong understanding of the publishing landscape and the evolving needs of content creators and publishing businesses.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven self-starter with a bias for action, who can both execute and strategize, and who is comfortable with ambiguity.

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $136,000 - $187,000
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas: $122,400 - $168,300

At Vimeo, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent across the globe. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment, and location.

Base salary is just one component of Vimeo's total rewards philosophy. We offer a wide range of benefits and perks that appeal to the variety of needs across our diverse employee base! Other rewards may include variable compensation and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

We also offer paid time off, generous 401k match, commuter benefits, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), fertility reimbursement, group term life insurances, wellbeing resources, and more.
