Role Description

Elevation Marketing is looking for Sr. Media Planner and Buyer . This is a full-time on-site role (with two work-from-home days a month or four half-days) for a Sr. Media Planner & Buyer located in the greater Phoenix area. This Senior role involves developing media strategies, planning media campaigns, utilizing analytical skills to optimize performance, and leveraging new media channels for effective marketing initiatives.

  • Experience using Workamajig, Basecamp or other similar project management platforms
  • Excellent relationship-building skills both with clients and vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Marketing Agency, Digital Agency or Advertising Agency Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functions as day-to-day SME on media planning and buying campaign strategy
  • Setup, execution, performance optimization, analysis and recommendations, coordinating amongst digital team platform experts
  • Establishes target audiences, measurable business objectives, KPIs, performance tracking, and other key elements of a well-designed digital media campaigns
  • Develops media strategies and plans understanding clients’ goals, target markets, budgets, etc.,
  • Creates benchmarks for performance analysis and reporting for B2B clients
  • Uses market insights and research to address identifiable market opportunities and set tactical plans
  • Manages paid media campaigns across multiple channels including traditional, programmatic, direct, broadcast, native, content syndication, etc.
  • Purchase traditional media when applicable
  • Analyze digital and advertising performance and web traffic, compiling reports to adjust and optimize tactics and campaigns
  • Leads media buys and collaborate with clients and internal teams to review performance
  • Analyze metrics throughout the funnel and make changes accordingly
  • Ability to build dashboards in Datorama a plus
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze results
  • Utilize DoubleClick Bid Manager and other Demand Side Platforms
  • Drive and achieve client KPI
  • Capture campaign results and produce reports
  • Client-facing -- present media plans, campaign updates, data, analytics, and conclusions
  • Negotiates best price and media placements for clients, as well as negotiates, reconciles, and resolves digital and traditional media discrepancies.
  • Set up campaigns for appropriate ad and conversion tracking in vendor platforms, ad server, brand safety, CRM and analytics tools.

All our roles are full-time on-site role, with two work-from-home days a month or four half days a month and we are flexible when it come to “life emergencies” that requires additional flexibility from time to time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years.

We do offer flexible hours based on client demands and department structure and typically that means an employee may be able to start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Elevation pays for 95% of employee’s life, health and long-term disability insurance. Elevation offers vision, dental and a variety of other benefits that an employee can purchase. The kitchen area is full of free snacks and beverages. Tuition reimbursement is available. The salary range for this position will vary depending on experience and skills outlined above.
