Job Description

Our client, a leading gas and energy company is hiring a Sr IT Project Manager to join their team in Columbus OH!

**This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits**

As the Sr IT Project Manager, you will lead and manage large-scale IT projects , ensuring successful delivery across IT and business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and track project budgets, schedules, risks, and resource plans using industry best practices
• Engage executive sponsors and key stakeholders , ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and drive projects through Waterfall, Agile, and SDLC methodologies
• Oversee project documentation, process improvement, and change management initiatives

Desired Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in IT project management with enterprise-level projects
• Prior experience in the Energy, Gas, or Utility industry
• Expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and SDLC methodologies
• PMP certification
• Experience with project cost management, resource capacity planning, and risk mitigation
• Agile certifications (PSM, PSPO) and ITIL v3/v4 are a plus
