Salary: 87,100 - 157,450 USD per year Requirements:

• I have experience working on a team and helping team members complete tasks in support of IT systems.
• I possess a BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience, or a Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• I have demonstrated Linux system administration experience in a large complex enterprise environment.
• I understand and/or have experience in network administration, installation of networking appliances, cabling, and cable termination in a large enterprise IT environment.
• I demonstrate the ability to stay organized, follow written instructions or technical guides, and prioritize tasks to maintain and deploy IT systems.
• I can provide and support data center activities, including rack and stacking equipment, pulling cable, and terminating cables.
• I have experience with Virtual Environment administration.
• I am capable of quickly adapting to new system environments and interfacing with different systems. I am interested in working on a broad range of problems and technologies as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• I can work independently and, at times, be the only representative working directly with the customer's IT team.
• I follow change management processes, which may include updating technical documentation.
• I demonstrate good judgment and effective written and verbal communication.
• I can lift up to 35 lbs multiple times daily.

Responsibilities:

• I will manage systems in a VMware environment.
• I will install COTS/GOTS and custom software, firmware updates, operating system patches for CDS guards, and antivirus software updates.
• I will monitor the systems for possible issues.
• I will resolve system problems by analyzing them for resolution paths, implementing solutions, and/or collaborating with vendors.
• I will respond to and resolve incident tickets within required response times.
• I will run scripts to gather production system metrics and statistics.
• I will set up and maintain user accounts.
• I will support system security vulnerability scan activities.
• I will participate in program standup meetings to discuss system status, technical issues, and coordinate production system changes.

We are seeking a candidate to support our cross domain system (CDS) that facilitates secure access to sensitive data. You will join a small, dedicated team responsible for providing Operations & Maintenance support on existing CDS systems. Your support activities will include deploying new systems, integrating new technologies and services, and troubleshooting data flows, utilizing diverse skills in system engineering, administration, management, and security. You will provide immediate responses and problem resolutions to critical system incident tickets, maintaining significant direct contact with immediate customers and our CDS staff.

Please note that this position is part of a team committed to providing continuous support 24 X 7 X 365 at one of three designated processing facilities.
