Total comp depending on experience

Local (SF Bay area) $150k-$170k.

Remote (US based) $135k-$150k.

What we're looking for:

Senior IT consultants with experience leading clients technically. This involves planning and implementing projects, assisting in setting priorities and budgets, and coordinating the integration of other team members into client work.

The suitable candidate will come from a systems or network engineering background in the IT space and will have spent recent years focusing on the cloud.

Technical skills:

• Azure storage, networking, VMs, monitor, virtual networks, and resource allocation including designing and spec’ing specific services like blob storage, redundancy, key vault, site recovery, immutable backup, VPN gateways, Azure firewall, including troubleshooting all of the above.
• Advanced skills with Entra including everything AD.
• Advanced PowerShell and Graph API skills.
• Microsoft 365 setup, architecting, administration, and troubleshooting of file storage, mail, and security.
• Security including MFA, SSO, EDR, Intune, conditional access, user risk security, VPNs, Application Layer, Hardening, and Cloud Security
• VMWare, Veeam, and Backup/DR generally

We are looking for real experience, not just certs. Other experience (Network, FW, Linux, storage, AWS, distributed environments) are a plus, but not required.

Our typical engineer works closely with several clients across various industries, technical skills are a must but, the soft skills are what will make you truly successful in this role. Our engineers are consultants and these soft skills are what make that difference.

We are open to hiring locally or remote for this position. It will require initially spending 1-2 weeks in San Francisco (expenses paid). A local hire in this role will spend time on-site with clients as needed. A remote hire will have short trips (2-3 days) to the Bay Area 6-10 times per year (expenses paid).
