We are looking for a passionate Account Manager to join our team in Landover, MD serving a single site. You will be at the forefront of ensuring our client’s expectations are met and exceeded through strategic oversight and extraordinary management.

Job Responsibilities

Client Management:
  • Be available to handle client or team issues and emergencies.
  • Communicate regularly with key client contacts and local GardaWorld Branch Teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with principal accounts and client contacts.
  • Look for ways to improve the client’s security program for a positive, long-term relationship.
  • Meet and maintain the contracted KPIs for the client.
  • Guide customers through integration projects, contracts, RFPs, and onboarding.
  • Create and deliver detailed presentations focused on the client’s needs.
Operational Oversight:
  • Keep business databases, like CRM and ERP systems, up to date.
  • Regularly review MSA compliance at branch and site levels.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate security and crisis management plans.
  • Manage client billing, including DSO assessments and overdue payment follow-ups.
  • Keep Client Summary Forms (CSF) and Account Summary Forms (ASF) current.
Data and Financial Management:
  • Analyze data and prepare internal reports for client management.
  • Provide precise and prompt pricing estimates in collaboration with the local branch and executive sponsor.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Write reports, client communications, instructional materials, and operating guidelines.
  • Show expertise in financial forecasting and margin analysis.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Great leadership and problem-solving skills, able to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Good at building relationships, communicating, and paying attention to details.
  • Professional, self-driven, and skilled in using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Positive, energetic, and good at strategic thinking and financial planning.
  • Experienced in managing projects and staying calm under pressure.
  • Honest and ethical, aligning with our company’s values.
  • Skilled in writing reports, client communications, and instructional materials.
  • Experienced in financial planning and understanding profit margins.
  • Good at handling challenges and managing stress effectively.
  • Excellent at written and verbal communication, customer service, and project management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least three years of experience in security operations, with a proven track record of handling increasingly complex responsibilities.
  • Ability to clear comprehensive background checks, including local, state, and federal criminal records, drug testing, skills evaluation, interviews, and personality assessments.
