We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong background in refrigeration service, maintenance, and technical operations. This role is critical to our operations and requires a dedicated professional who can ensure the efficient and reliable functioning of our refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities:
As a Refrigeration Technician, your primary duties will include:
1. Performing regular preventive maintenance and service on refrigeration systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
2. Diagnosing and repairing faults in refrigeration systems and equipment.
3. Installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
4. Ensuring all refrigeration equipment and systems comply with health and safety regulations.
5. Responding promptly to emergency service calls during both regular business hours and after hours as needed.
6. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and service activities.
7. Providing technical support and advice to other team members and clients.
8. Collaborating with other technicians and engineers on larger projects.
9. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in refrigeration technology.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Refrigeration Technician position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician(commercial).
2. Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R service, maintenance, and technical operations.
3. EPA Universal certification is required.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
9. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
