We are a small, tight-knit law firm seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our team. This is a completely remote position, but the ideal candidate will be located within driving distance of San Diego . Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and case files. Manage case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed and filed. Communicate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals as required. Conduct legal research, particularly regarding wildfire-related cases . Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Support the team with administrative tasks and other duties as necessary. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably with experience in wildfire legal matters. Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Must be comfortable working remotely but able to attend in-person meetings or court appearances in San Diego as needed.
