Randstad is looking for a Maintenance Tech for a company in the Greeneville, TN area. The hours of this position will be 6am-6pm and it will be on a 2/2/3 schedule. This is a direct hire position as well. Please call our office if you're interested in applying. 423/638-9946

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machine Electro-Mechanical malfunctions, utilizing appropriate test equipment to analyze problems and correct deficiencies - Minimum Test equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, Laptop computers.
• Be able to work effectively with Automation and Instrumentation devices in support of engineering and engineering technicians.
• Troubleshoot equipment Motor and Drive hardware and control Issues.
• Follow All proactive safety measures to include but not limited to NEC, NFPA, and other pertinent safety codes. Ensure safety procedures, such as Lock-Out Tag-Out, Arc Flash are always followed
• Maintain extensive knowledge of production systems.
• strong fundamental understanding of 3 phase electrical systems, machine/motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, VFD and Servo systems
• Support the Parts department by assisting with identifying and maintaining parts used on the equipment and inventory of repair parts and manufacturing supplies

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
