Description Summary: The IT Director is the senior manager of the Kiefer IT department. The position is highly visible within the company and will be focused both on daily tasks as well as long term projects. This position is responsible for managing all IT and computer systems with the company, creating IT policy and strategy, implementing infrastructure, and leveraging technology to help the organization achieve its goals. Essential Functions/Primary Duties: Supervise, coach, and support positions within IT department (currently IT Technician and IT Analyst) Monitor and maintain company software Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives Work with others in planning projects Create reports, analyze, and interpret data Set short and long term objectives and goals for the Kiefer IT department Perform other duties as assigned Manage web development projects Manage general IT projects Education/Experience: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred Knowledge of computer hardware and server maintenance General help desk support Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Skills/Attributes: Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational abilities Familiarity with financial and customer service principles Open to learning new skills and processes that support the business High level of integrity with a strong sense of accountability Working Conditions: The work environment is typical of an office setting with occasional work required in the warehouse. Supervisory Responsibilities: This is a supervisory position. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional standing when working in the warehouse Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, day shift position with typical work hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional weekends and evenings.
