The City of Blair is looking for a tech-savvy and proactive IT Director to join our team! This full-time, exempt position offers a chance to lead, innovate, and ensure the smooth operation of our city's technology systems. If you're passionate about systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do: Oversee the City's computer network, hardware, and software systems. Manage user access via Active Directory and Office 365 Administration. Coordinate with server and network support providers to maintain the City's wide-area network. Ensure the security of Blair's network infrastructure and protect it from intrusion or corruption. Scope, recommend, purchase, and configure IT hardware and software to meet departmental needs. Provide training and guidance to staff on IT tools and processes while maintaining hardware and software inventories. What You Bring: Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Systems Administration, or a related field required. Experience : A minimum of five years in systems administration, help desk support, or networking is required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
