Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, tax planning, and tax reporting activities for our clients. Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for our clients using UltraTax software
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liability for our clients
• Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related matters
• Prepare financial statements and reports related to tax activities
• Manage sales tax and payroll tax filings for clients
• Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as needed
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA certification or EA preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting
• Proficiency in UltraTax, Thompson Reuters, QuickBooks, and other tax software
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
