We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our law firm. This role is essential in supporting our HR team with administrative tasks, onboarding new employees, conducting interviews, and managing payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Support payroll processing, including timesheet verification and benefits administration.
  • Handle general HR administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and correspondence.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, administration, or a related field (law firm experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and payroll processes is a plus.
