Job Description

The HIM Manager will oversee the Health Information Management department in Tuba City, AZ, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining the integrity of patient records. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and processes effectively. Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the HIM department
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Supervise and train HIM staff
Maintain accurate patient records and data integrity
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
RHIT or RHIA certification preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HIM
Strong knowledge of medical coding and billing
Excellent communication and leadership skills
