Gaming Category Manager

Location: Remote (Puget Sound Area preferred)

Duration: 2/14/25 - 6/30/25, opportunity to extend

Pay Range: $45/hr - $50/hr

Purpose of the Team:

The team is the CSO America's gaming team, part of the worldwide CSO worldwide gaming retail sales team. They are responsible for bringing gaming products to market through retailers.

We are looking for a Games Category Manager (Vendor) for North America. The Games Category Manager will oversee our first party Games retail portfolio. This role will enable programs and support execution at our retail partners to help our team meet business targets.

This role will report to the Sr Games Category Manager.

Key Tasks:

  • Provide support to Games Category Manager to oversee P&L for Games product portfolio, making recommendations to manage our portfolio across retailer accounts – including retailer programs and promotions.
  • Manage assets to support new product launches, build and maintain workback schedules to ensure we have the correct assets for title launches, following up with key stakeholders to ensure timelines are met. Refresh assets to support promotions or lifecycle management programs.
  • Forecasting new and existing products, analyzing historical and comparative title data to scope the size of new launching titles by region and retailer as well as to support promotions/seasonality.
  • Allocations and Operations, build and maintain launch allocation trackers for new titles based on insights and retailer feedback to ensure adequate supply for the release window. Work with operations to ensure product availability for launch, follow up on purchase orders and secure additional builds to maintain in stocks. For existing titles, ensure proper supply to maintain run rates and support and planned promotions.
  • Support Category Manager by strengthening reporting initiatives – including but not limited to weekly title reports, allocation reporting, pre-order reporting, etc.
  • Create sales tools to support retailer programs, ensuring that the sales team is equipped with tools, insights and programs to drive our shared success.
  • Collaborate with our business partners, including WW Category, WW Channel Marketing and our local team (Marketing and Sales).

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience managing category or product, preferably with a retail channel partner
  • Experience working within the Gaming industry
  • Ability to analyze sales data, draw relevant conclusions, develop accurate business plans and forecasts, and drive execution
  • Have experience planning and executing marketing strategies and activities that drive business results while remaining aligned to the brand.
