Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a BIM Specialist include but are not limited to:

• Aid in the development, implementation, and management of BIM standards, processes, and protocols.
• Coordinate BIM efforts across various disciplines, including architecture, structural, and MEP engineering.
• Assist project teams with model creation, maintenance, and quality control.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and clients to align BIM workflows.
• Model management and administration ensuring a healthy BIM database
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings for spatial coordination of disciplines, including gathering of all discipline’s BIM models
• Deploy project templates and ensure team adheres to them
• Must be able to manage multiple projects at a time

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree in Computer Drafting and Design or other related degree.
• Strong communication skills
