About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of planning, managing, and executing construction projects, ensuring quality standards, client satisfaction, and profitability. What You’ll Do:

• Assist in project estimates, budgeting, and management planning.
• Support value engineering efforts to optimize project performance.
• Organize and lead pre-construction planning meetings.
• Help negotiate contracts and manage subcontractors.
• Assist in permit acquisition and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
• Manage financial aspects, including invoicing and collections.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to oversee safety, cost, quality, and schedule performance.
• Manage project closeout, ensuring smooth handover and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of construction laws, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage budgets effectively.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred: Industry certifications, professional affiliations (AGC, PE), and community service involvement.
