Responsibilities: Maintain proficiency in applying handcuffs and medical restraints.Maintain professional and effective communications and relationships with our clinical partners and clients.Establish safe and necessary restraints for transportation.Maintain proficiency in applying handcuffs, applying medical restraints.Maintain certifications for the use and deployment of a Taser and all other required training.Appropriately utilizes PPE, and follows HIPAA, OSHA, and AUS Policies and Procedures.Follow protocols for maintaining your equipment, uniform, defensive tools, and transport vehicle.Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to safely transport patients (i.e., dispatch communications, documentation, body worn cameras, in car cameras, restraints, Tasers, Use of Force, etc.)Working understanding of the application of Use of Force policies and procedures.Effective utilization of Conflict Management training and tactics, to include verbal de-escalation and physical intervention.Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely, following all local, state, and federal regulations, rules, and requirements.Responsible for the safe transport of subjects from point A to point B as requested by the client.Performs other duties as required and keeps a safe environment for other transporters and clients.Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age for armed rolesValid driver's license and clear driving recordPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
