The Position

Were looking for a highly motivated Account Executive to join our Sales team; someone who has a gift for building and maintaining strong relationships with an aptitude for sales. In this role, youll be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, including planning/forecasting, prospecting, relationship management and closing. Youll identify and develop the most compelling new opportunities for our technologies as well as advance the use of our technologies in existing accounts and partner relationships.

Were looking for someone with excellent customer facing skills, strong technical aptitude and experience selling enterprise software solutions. Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities for our technologies as well as advance the use of our technologies in existing accounts and partner relationships.
  • Develop proposals and presentations to meet expressed and perceived customer needs, liaising with technical resources as necessary.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships within customer organizations.
  • Close software sales and services working with the team to ensure on-time fulfillment, overall product satisfaction and question/problem resolution.
  • Record all customer/prospect communications in NetSuite.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales booking forecasts and support the budgeting and annual planning process.
  • Actively participate and support services projects with your customers.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in direct or outside B2B sales, preferably in enterprise software sales.
  • A history of successful sales growth and business development.
  • Proven ability to drive a sales process from plan to close.
  • Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate, present, andinfluenceall levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and others.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Utilities space, including Water/Wastewater, Electric, Gas, Telco.
  • Knowledge of GIS and the Esri ecosystem is desirable.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • This position requires extensive travel (up to 35%) primarily in the US.
